Liverpool braced for £52m windfall as Reds ‘open’ to selling star, Salah to receive ‘treble wages offer’

According to reports, Liverpool could receive a windfall of around £52m in the summer as Mohamed Salah is among two attackers who may move elsewhere.
The 2025/26 campaign is proving to be a poor season for Liverpoolas they have made a weak attempt at defending their 20th Premier League title.
This is due to several factors, including the sad passing of Diogo Jota, Arne Slot‘s poor management, FSG’s misguided summer overhaul and the decline of several key players.
Liverpool exited the Premier League title race during a shambolic run of nine losses in 12 matches and currently face an uphill battle to qualify for the Champions League. They are currently trailing fourth-placed Man City and fifth-placed Chelsea for the final two spots in the competition.

This means there could be another squad overhaul at Liverpool in the summer, with there likely to be several notable exits.
Salah is among those who could leave as he remains linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League, has clashed with Slot and has dramatically declined this season.
Earlier this month, a report claimed Saudi Pro League dealmakers have identified Salah as a ‘perfect replacement’ for Cristiano Ronaldo, who could leave Al Nassr over a conflict with the board over an alleged lack of backing in the transfer market.
And a report from The Mirrorclaims Salah ‘could treble his wages’ with a move to the Saudi Pro League,?as he ‘will be offered the chance to become the new face of the Saudi Pro League’ and replace Rona
ldo ‘this summer’.
The report adds: ‘The Saudis tried to lure Salah last summer, and he has remained at the top of their wish-list, despite committing himself to Liverpool in the aftermath of last season’s title win.’

Another recent report claimed Liverpool value Salah at £26mand Federico Chiesa could leave the club for the same fee in the summer.
This is according to Caught Offside, who claim Liverpool have ‘set their asking price’ for Cheisa as he gears up for a potential return to Serie A.
The report claims:
The Liverpool board is “open to letting him go”, with doubts about his ability to adapt to the Premier League pace, while Serie A sides are already moving in for Chiesa.
‘Juventus are testing the waters to bring their former star back, while Roma and Napoli keep him on their shortlist to boost their attacking options. No official bids have been made yet, but talks are expected to pick up speed once the window opens. Sources have informed CaughtOffside that Liverpool’s asking price is around €25–30 million, a figure that helps the club avoid a loss and free up space in the wage budget.’
